Closet London has been in the apparel industry for over 21 years and has obtained extensive trade experience. We make contemporary womenswear that tells a story. We are loved for our elegant shapes and stunning prints, and our passionate team of designers and pattern-cutters design and make garments in London. 

Our fabrics are carefully sourced from Italian, French, German and Turkish suppliers to assure our high quality standards are met. With our factories based in London close to our headquarters, we are able to maintain a high level of quality control as well as reacting quickly to trends and sales. Closet London present nine collections a year. Each of our collections tells a fresh and inspiring story, and we offer a quirky and thoughtful experience that brings personality to everything that we do.

We have a well-diversified B2B clientele, with small boutiques and industry-leading corporations as regular buyers. Having launched our own B2C website just over 4 years ago, our brand is growing from strength to strength as we increased our online presence through digital marketing. Closet London is represented by agents, buyers, distributors, independent boutiques, retail chains and online stores worldwide. + CAD Technician

The role:

Closet London is looking for a dedicated and hard-working CAD Technician who is able to use their initiative and become fully involved in all CAD operations

Requiring personal skills of being hard working, intelligent, and an organised attention to detail approach. The candidate will be self-motivated, a good communicator, and a good listener. Job description:

Experienced Lectra Grader/Operator Required

  • Experienced in digitizing, grading and lay planning (Creating efficient markers for production based on the quantity and ratio given) using Lectra Modaris V8r1 / Diamino V6r2
  • Good knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing
  • Ability to make amendments on system prior to Production Markers being issued
  • High level of accuracy, highly organised and with excellent communication skills (Good Written and Spoken English).
  • Be able to measure and quality check garments ready for production.
  • Be a team player and a positive attitude
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with product line management software inputting accurate data and costings. Training will be given to use PLM and ERP.
  • Ability to cope well under pressure, working individually when required.
