Summer 2019 'Blue Horizon' Staff Style

There’s still a chill in the air, but we’re sure it won't be for long. Here at Closet London HQ, we’ve rounded up our favourite looks from our latest collection to help you dress for any upcoming occasions you have this Spring.

For a fancy occasion, follow in Brianna’s footsteps, she keeps all eyes on the dress by adding delicate gold jewellery and retro-look white heeled boots to contrast the vibrant colour of the dress.

IMG_7216Q1. Why did you pick this outfit?

I picked this outfit because of the beautiful colour and luxurious feel of the fabric. I think it is the perfect dress to wear for any special occasion, especially high tea or race day.

Q2. How else would you style it?

Depending on the occasion, I would switch my boots to white heels for a more formal event. I would also love to wear this dress to the races and would add a hat or fascinator, and clutch bag.

Q3. What do you love about Closet London styles?

I love the diverse range of styles. There are so many different silhouettes and colours in each collection, providing the right option for everyone no matter what their style or body type is.

Q4. What are your thoughts on this collection?

Blue Horizon is one of my favourite collections I have seen so far. The colour palette combined with the watercolour and floral prints work together so well.

Q5. What are your other favourite pieces in this collection?

Some of my other favourite pieces from the collection are the Closet GOLD Violet Floral Maxi Dress and Closet GOLD Floral Gathered Neck Dress. I absolutely love the floral print featured on each dress. I also like the Blue Textured Spot Sleeveless A-Line Dress; the textured spot is such a fun twist on this classic silhouette!

Q6What are you currently listening to?

I currently have a Feminist Power Playlist on repeat. It features artists like Jess Glynne, Little Mix, Shania Twain, and Beyoncé. Whenever I listen to it, I can’t help but feel confident.

Q7. What are you currently reading?

I’ve been working my way through a compilation of stories from distinguished women called What I Told My Daughter: Lessons from Leaders on Raising the Next Generation of Empowered Women. I love to read the different anecdotes and notes of advice from such strong and powerful women.

Next, we have Simi from the ecommerce team who adores the silhouette of the ivory jumpsuit as it fits perfectly around her waist which is rare to find. She styled it with bright red heels to add a pop of colour and paired it with vintage jewellery as she loves wearing antique earrings and rings.

Q1. How else would you style it?

I would wear this with trainers and put my hair in a sleek bun. For a summer’s day out, I’d wear it with sandals.

Q2. Who/what inspires you, and why?

I really love the 80’s and old school music. I think behind my fashion and personality; I tend to gravitate to those looks. I enjoy a chic outfit occasionally, but I particularly get inspiration from the 80’s and the era of culture surrounding it.

Q3. Where would you like to go in this outfit?

I would go to a day event such as a baby shower, a birthday lunch or even a celebratory event such as Mother’s Day.

Q4. What do you love about Closet London styles?

I love the quality and fit of the styles at Closet London, it is hard to find styles that flatter my body type, but I have been pleasantly surprised with Closet London styles and have found a new favourite brand. The trousers and occasion dresses fit me so well.

Q5. What are your thoughts on this collection?

I love it! Blue is one of my favourite colours, along with a lot of different shades which is great for summer occasions.

Q6. What are your other favourite pieces in this collection?

I really love the Closet GOLD Violet Floral Maxi Dress and the Blue Cropped Leg Trousers! Great additions to my wardrobe for the summer.

Q7. Any message for our followers?

The quality is unbeatable and everything you buy will be worth it. From the customer service to the styles – you cannot go wrong.

Q8. What are you currently reading?

Currently, I am reading Small Island and I love it! I highly recommend this if you are into historical fiction. It is a great story and comical if you need something light-hearted.
